At MachShip, our goal has always been simple: make freight easier. With over 500 carrier integrations, we help businesses across Australia and New Zealand save time, reduce costs, and gain confidence in their freight operations. But freight doesn’t happen independently; it’s part of the wider business workflow. For customers to get the most value, freight needs to be integrated into the process where orders are created, processed, and managed.
That’s why we partnered with Fenwick Apps, a trusted leader in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central integrations. Together, we’ve brought MachShip into Business Central through the Deliver-It with MachShip app.
Why the Partnership Mattered
For many of our customers, integrating freight within Business Central was a challenge. Every connection required custom development, costly projects, and technical resources. We knew there had to be a better way – a plug-and-play solution, available directly on Microsoft AppSource.
Fenwick Apps had the expertise to make that happen. Known as one of the most experienced Business Central development partners, they understood the platform inside out. By combining our freight expertise with their Business Central knowledge, we created a solution that works seamlessly for customers.
They’re the biggest and the best. For us, it really comes down to the value of people… With Fenwick, we’ve been able to build strong, collaborative relationships. That’s been key.

Building Deliver-It with MachShip
Working closely with Fenwick Apps, Deliver-It with MachShip was designed to eliminate double handling and streamline freight inside Business Central. Orders flow directly into MachShip, shipments are automatically booked with the best carrier and tracking and reconciliation data flow back into the ERP.
Key benefits for customers:
- Seamless shipping workflows directly inside Business Central.
- Automatic carrier selection for every shipment.
- Time and cost savings, with reduced manual work and fewer errors.
- Advanced capabilities for dangerous goods, multi-location deliveries, and packaging.
- Reconciliation support, automatically flagging charges that don’t match quoted rates.
From concept to release, development took just a few months, which is a testament to the agile, collaborative approach both teams brought to the project and the speed and vast knowledge of the Fenwick Apps team.

Results for Customers
The impact was immediate and personal. One of our earliest wins came when a long-standing customer, who had left for a competitor due to the lack of Business Central integration, decided to return. Deliver-It with MachShip provided them with the seamless experience they had been requesting, restoring confidence in the system and reaffirming the value of our partnership.
From there, adoption spread quickly. Within the first year, Deliver-It with MachShip was live across 10 customer sites. Each implementation had its own story – businesses eager to streamline freight management, cut down manual effort, and regain control of their operations.
For early adopters, the change was transformative. Teams that once struggled with time-consuming, unreliable freight processes were suddenly able to focus on higher-value work. The feedback we heard most often was a sense of relief and renewed energy — staff could spend less time fixing issues and more time delivering value to their customers.
Built on Collaboration
Deliver-It with MachShip is proof of what happens when two teams with complementary strengths come together. Fenwick Apps brought the Business Central expertise; MachShip brought the freight knowledge and carrier network. The result: a solution that saves time, reduces complexity, and helps businesses move freight smarter.
At MachShip, we’re proud to partner with Fenwick Apps, and prouder still of the results our shared customers are achieving.
